Grinder Perspective on Gene Editing Tech

I think when you start using this tech­nol­o­gy for enhance­ment, that’s when you start to get into the domain of bio­hack­ing and kind of human aug­men­ta­tion. Well, I believe that this is a very fer­tile ground for peo­ple to explore, and I think that this involves will­ing par­tic­i­pants who are try­ing to find out more about the world around them and try­ing to enhance the human expe­ri­ence. And I think we need to allow that inno­va­tion to take place.

In this episode, we’ll take a broad under­stand­ing of the term tech­nol­o­gy” and look at how processed and tech­niques have affect­ed the way in which soci­etal ben­e­fits from cer­tain types of seeds have spread across the world, from indige­nous knowl­edges, to biotech­nol­o­gy, and patent­ing and pri­va­ti­za­tion of seeds.

Seeing the Stack

It’s this infra­struc­ture that is unseen, because it is infra‐structure, it is under the struc­ture. And when you start think­ing about this mas­sive web of tech­nolo­gies that keep you alive, the only inter­faces we have on a day‐to‐day basis are tap, turn, flush. Everything else is hid­den and unseen.
