I want to say that I’m hum­bled and hon­ored to be here tonight. And my only wish is that Aaron would be here to accept this award. Aaron fought tire­less­ly to make infor­ma­tion free, and keep the Internet free, and to make aca­d­e­m­ic research avail­able for free, among oth­er things. He was pur­sued by bad laws, vin­dic­tive pros­e­cu­tion, and uncar­ing insti­tu­tions. And I hope that we can all move for­ward to try to change those things so that the tragedy that occurred to Aaron does­n’t occur to any­one else. Thank you.
